The new king of Hot hatches?

Honda has announced the all new 2023 and it does look sophisticated. But can it replace the king of hot hatches, the Mercedes AMG A45

The hot hatches segment has been a competitive one only after the sports cars. For the price of an SUV you can get your hands on on of the hot hatches which will guarantee sports car performance.

The type r is now little bit tad dull but a whole lot meaner. It still retains the engine from the previous gen but get a massive turbo upgrade. It will be hard to spot a type r from the normal civic albeit the exhaust tips. It still has the sophisticated front wheel drive system. The 2023 promises to have a slightly better transmission box but that remains to be seen.

The interior get a major upgrade. This generation now feels more premium. The seats look much better than before. The infotainment no longer has the entry level feel. The saving grace tying all of the interior is the new sound system.

When the last version of the type R was launched, it sold at a very high premium. Mostly for it's radical look and of course the power output. The dealer markups were hard to digest considering the entire package. This time around hopefully the markup is not as much and the premium price seems more justified.
We at Kaarnuts love this new direction.
